The Gadget Shwo is doing a new campaign where they want people to test there broadband connection to see if they are getting what they are supposed to be getting.

Below is the link to the test and i think people should test it out as most people in the uk don't get the speed they are supposed to and they pay full price and the gadget show wnats this to stop

Here are my first set of results
Proper Connection speed = 3.5MB
Actual Speed = 1.937MB

Now i was supposed to get 8MB broadband but i got an email from BT saying that the maximum i would recieve would be 3.5MB but as you can see above i don't even get that.

On another note i do pay for the 8MB broadband but i think i should pay less because i don't recieve anything near it and i think people should be charged on the exact speed we get
